Peter and the Starcatcher
In November of 2024 I had the absolute pleasure of playing Black Stache in our Fall production of Peter and the Starcatcher. Oh what fun it was! Who was Captain Hook before the hook? A complete ham with a thick black handlebar mustache and an obsession with destiny! In this production, the cast stayed on stage for most of the production, so we were all very involved and got to know eachother well. The only thing I enjoyed more than being Black Stache was the company of my company! Just kidding, I loved being Black Stache more than anything. He was a greedy, boisterous, scoundrel; pretty much my dream role. Huge thanks to everyone involved!
Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play
In November of 2023 I had the honor of being in Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play, where I played the nefarious M Burns, a character from 80+ years in an apocolyptic future where Mr. Burns, Sideshow Bob, The Joker and a bit of David Bowie have all amalgamated into one utterly evil villain. It really put me to work and was a big jump from my role in Urinetown, but it was so much fun. The role involved a lot of flamboyance, audience interaction and even leather pants! I'm a huge Simpsons fan so I'm so grateful I got to be apart of this absurd production.
Urinetown at NJIT
My first chance to ever stage act was during our theater department's March 2023 production of Urinetown! It was a privilege to play the role of Old Man Strong and get hauled off stage by officers after a brief pee. I had a great time acting and look forward to participating in some more musicals.
Extra-Normal Paranormal
A project I started while taking a class at NJIT called Podcast Practicum. I always had this idea in my head: What if one of those lame "ghost hunting" shows on the History Channel actually found something, and that something was not happy. Thats when I decided to create Don Bellows, the cross between Dib from Invader Zim and J. Jonah Jameson, plus a couple other nut-jobs thrown into the mix. On his show was a mix of scripted interviews, stories and expeditions where Don would find the stuff he looks for and it would never go as he planned, all wrapped up in a ridiculous InfoWars knockoff. My friend John Bang even made a theme song for the occasion. I had a lot of fun making it, got some friends involved, and seemed to have made my professor happy. There's only four episodes for now, but one day I'd like to revisit the project and try some more.
Oh yeah, I was in a Wendy's ad for a couple seconds too
This was a lot of fun. After going to the adultswimfest block party in Philidelphia I ended up briefly appearing in promotional video advertising Wendy's food (especially their new-at-the-time french toast sticks) posted on an official Adult Swim account. Technically this isn't really an acting role at all but hey, when life gives you lemons, right?
